About This Course
This Year 4 British Writing & Comprehension Course is designed to help students strengthen their reading and writing skills in line with the British curriculum. The students build confidence while developing the essential skills needed for school assessments and future academic success.
Course Objectives
Develop reading comprehension skills through a variety of age-appropriate texts and guided practice.
Expand vocabulary and improve students' ability to understand and use new words confidently.
Teach effective writing techniques, including planning, organizing ideas, and structuring sentences and paragraphs.
Practice different types of writing required in the British curriculum.
Build confidence in reading, understanding, and expressing ideas clearly in written English.
By the End of the Course
Students will be able to:
Read and analyze comprehension passages with greater accuracy and confidence.
Apply new vocabulary appropriately in both reading and writing.
Plan and write well-structured responses using effective writing techniques.
Produce different types of writing suitable for their grade level.
