About This Course
This course is designed for students aged 12 –18 to further develop their French proficiency and prepare for the DELF B2 Junior exam. It focuses on fostering independent, fluent, and accurate communication through structured, interactive, and engaging lessons that enable students to express themselves clearly and confidently in a wide range of contexts while becoming familiar with the DELF B2 exam format.
Course Objectives
• Strengthen the four key French skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing at an upper-intermediate level.
• Expand vocabulary significantly and master more complex grammar structures required for DELF B2.
• Develop fluency and confidence in speaking by expressing and defending opinions, presenting arguments, and discussing abstract and contemporary topics.
• Improve listening comprehension through extended discussions, debates, and authentic audio materials.
• Develop advanced reading skills using a variety of texts such as articles, reports, and literary extracts.
• Strengthen writing skills by producing well-structured and coherent texts such as essays, formal emails, and argumentative pieces.
• Introduce DELF B2 exam-style tasks and train students to apply effective strategies for each section of the exam.
By the End of the Course
Students will be able to understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics. They will be able to communicate fluently and spontaneously, interact with a degree of ease, and express and defend their opinions clearly. They will also be able to read and analyze a wide range of texts and write detailed, structured texts on various subjects. In addition, they will be familiar with the DELF B2 Junior exam structure and expectations.
