About This Course
This course is designed for students in Year 4 and Year 5 learning French as a second language, to build a strong foundation in French and prepare for the DELF A1.1 level. It focuses on developing essential communication skills through interactive and engaging activities that make learning French simple, fun, and effective for young learners.
Course Objectives
- Develop core French skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Introduce and reinforce essential vocabulary and basic grammar structures for A1.1 level.
- Build confidence in speaking through everyday topics such as self-introduction, family, school, and daily routines.
- Improve listening comprehension through simple dialogues and guided activities.
- Strengthen reading skills using short, level-appropriate texts.
- Develop basic writing skills through sentences and short descriptions.
- Prepare students gradually for DELF A1.1 exam-style questions in an easy and supportive way.
By the End of the Course
Students will be able to understand and use basic French in simple everyday situations, introduce themselves, read short texts, and write simple sentences with confidence. They will also be better prepared for the DELF A1.1 level requirements.
