About This Course

This course follows the British Cambridge Primary English curriculum and is designed to develop students’ overall English language skills through engaging lessons, guided practice, reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities. It focuses on building strong foundations in vocabulary, grammar, spelling, phonics, reading comprehension, and written communication while encouraging creativity, confidence, and effective use of English.

Course Objectives

  • Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
  • Strengthen vocabulary, grammar, spelling, phonics, and comprehension.
  • Improve students’ ability to understand and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Develop sentence construction and creative writing skills.

By the End of the Course, Students Will Be Able To:

  •  Demonstrate a strong understanding of Year 2 English language skills.
  • Read and understand age-appropriate texts with improved fluency and comprehension.
  • Write clear sentences and short pieces of structured and creative writing.
  • Use appropriate grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
  • Communicate ideas clearly through speaking and writing.
  • Listen to and understand spoken English in different contexts.
  • Apply their English skills confidently in classroom activities and school assessments.
